Beginning with the basics of resolution theory we look at the essential elements of getting an image from scanner to computer in the correct format, quality and resolution for a given output device.

Once the image is on the computer you will learn all the techniques required to succesfully transform your image into a high quality finished file. You will also learn how to prepare the file correctly for its final destination, whether it is embedded in a web page, multimedia project or printed through a DTP program.
