This two day course is aimed at those wishing to develop their web design skills or enter into the market from new. It will also benefit those wishing to transfer their skills from a traditional print based design background.

Using working examples, we look extensively at the do's and don'ts of building web sites. Many of the pitfalls arising from lack of compatibility on the web can be avoided and we will show you how costly mistakes can be averted.

 

Planning your site and targeting the end user correctly are critical to the success of any web site, so we analyse how the many different technologies can and should be used for your particular site

We look in-depth at the process of graphics production and optimisation.

You will learn time saving methods for quickly creating attractive designs using HTML and web authoring applications and be able to assess if and when to use elements such as animation, sound and video.
